As the Hidden Host, your goal is to win the hearts of the woodland by rallying suited denizens to your cause. Strategically establish your camps, organize your cells, and deploy your envoys—your limited but resourceful forces must defend key clearings while launching decisive strikes against those who threaten your movement. The Hidden Host thrives when operating in the shadows, quietly expanding their influence, only striking when the moment is right.

The Hidden Host are a redesigned version of the Black Guard that have been extensively balanced against all factions including those in the Homeland Expansion. They are a strong interloper faction, which means that while they are not strictly militant they fill the function of a secondary militant faction in games. The Hidden Host are great at helping police an aggressive militant faction like the Warlord or GoW, and slowing down racing insurgent factions.
