Blessed are those who follow her gleam and her word; helpless are those who shun it. The Papessa of Flowers seeks to establish a seat of power in the woodland by presenting her sisterhood as the solution to the endless conflict they face - but she is not above creating problems to justify those solutions when necessary.

Tension, representing fear and unrest, are generated by battles between other factions, or by special actions. Papessa warriors may collect Pollen in Harvest Clearings, bake it into Bee Bread, and deliver it to Tension in order to score. Each turn, the Papessa chooses a new Doctrine - special abilities that provide passive bonuses, or active effects triggered by spending cards. Use them to recruit swathes of warriors in a single turn, generate or remove tension in special ways, manage your hive workers box, or enhance your capacity for battling.
