Hilltop

Hilltop's golden forests and rapid falls dominate the western edges of the Woodland. It's the most distant province of the Mountain King, and was a small, quiet community for much of its history. However, the discovery of a huge copper deposit inside of Hilltop's namesake led to explosive growth. When the Long Night started, the mine's operation became a topic of fierce debate. The coin it brought in kept everyone fed, but fears over collapsing tunnels and poisoned water haunted residents. They all thought they had time to work out a solution, that the civil war brewing would never reach this part of the world. But money talks. Any faction that could wrestle control the Hill would have a massive economic advantage. Now upstarts and empires are invading, and the taste of blood and copper is on everyone's tongue.
